It's time we shift the conversation

Rather than viewing power standing as a luxury item, we should be asking, why NOT power standing? The health risks of sitting are widely acknowledged1. In the most recent guidelines, people with mobility impairments are recommended to limit the amount of time spent sedentary (sitting or lying down), because an increasing level of evidence shows that replacing sedentary behavior with an activity of any intensity provides health benefits2.
