Permobil Power Standing Training

Power standing doesn't have to be complicated, and Permobil is here to help

The Permobil Power Standing Training was designed to equip you with the knowledge and resources necessary to feel confident throughout the power standing evaluation, prescription, and delivery process.

We offer three options for completion based on your needs and learning preferences:

Live Training

Complete the Permobil Power Standing Training live, either in-person or virtual, with your local Permobil territory sales manager. After completion of the training, take the online exam to receive your training certificate.

Live Training + Standing CEU Course

Complete the Permobil Power Standing Training live, either in-person or virtual, with your local Permobil territory sales manager. In addition, complete the Stand for more: Increasing access with evidence course (0.1 CEU) at the same time or a later date. After completion of the training, take the online exam to receive your training certificate.

Online On-Demand Training

Complete the Permobil Power Standing Training at your convenience through the Permobil Learning Management system. After completion of the online on-demand training, take the online exam to receive your training certificate.

How do I determine which learning pathway is best for me?

I don’t have experience in power standing, can I still take the Permobil Power Standing Training?

YES! Our territory sales managers and clinical education managers are here to assist you with taking the first steps towards confidently evaluating and prescribing power standing. Consider pairing the Permobil Power Standing Training with the standing continuing education course to gain a strong understanding of the clinical, functional, and social/emotional benefits of standing prior to diving into the “how to” of evaluating and delivering the Permobil F5 Corpus VS.

Are there any pre-requisites required to take the Permobil Power Standing Training?

There are no pre-requisites required to take the Permobil Power Standing Training. The training is designed for all levels of clinical and equipment provider experience.

Is the Permobil Power Standing Training required to provide a Permobil F5 Corpus VS?

You are not required to take the Permobil Power Standing Training to provide the Permobil F5 Corpus VS, but it is highly recommended. Helping customers, clinicians, and consumers achieve the best possible outcomes is our top priority, and the Permobil Power Standing Training provides the knowledge and tools necessary to make that a reality.

Does my funding source require someone trained be involved in the evaluation process?

Currently your funding source does not require your equipment supplier or clinician to have completed the Permobil Power Standing Training.
