When providing a therapeutic intervention for our youngest clients, it is a well known that the earlier a child receives that intervention, the faster they can adapt, learn, and develop. The Permobil Explorer Mini is a developmental tool to assist in making this happen as quickly as possible. The Explorer Mini has age-appropriate seating components for postural support and a mid-line joystick to help initiate power mobility when appropriate. We invite you all to join Permobil and a special guest presenter, Teresa Plummer, PhD, OTR/L, ATP, CEAS, CAPS, to discuss the importance of the earliest intervention possible. We will also review the results and observations related to a pending manuscript of the validation work that Teresa has completed as well as the details on the specifications of the Explorer mini and how our children, clients, patients, and students can utilize this exciting new technology.
