Now that they were engaged (again), Matt and Kerryn were keen to move forward with plans for their wedding - after all, they had waited 11 years since their last wedding date!
With the help of friends, they identified Red Beach Surf Club as a welcoming and accessible venue that would accommodate all their loved ones, reflecting the beach and nature they both love.
On their wedding day, Matt was able to use the Permobil F5VS standing powerchair he had proposed in again. He stood in the surf club's lobby, welcoming all their guests - all of whom teared up at seeing Matt standing. It was a wonderful surprise for them all and they knew the day was truly going to be special.
Then Kerryn arrived, looking stunning. They stood, facing each other, making their vows, with their daughters on each side, surrounded by their most loved - who were thrilled the day had finally arrived.
The party carried on late into the night - everyone wanted to stay in the magic of this love for as long as they could.
